Apparently I forgot to post a picture of Ruby's first birthday...oops. With all the chaos of Christmas she was not forgotten but just set aside. I guess that is what happens with your third child. Sorry Ruby, hopefully it won't happen again. She opened a few presents but enjoyed the cake more. She is such a sweet little one and developing a great personality. She LOVES to copy her brother and sister. Here are a few photos of our celebration.

My sweet little ones...

Our lives have been so crazy lately with school, church, and all of the other stuff that seems to fill our lives. My kids are growing up so fast. I can't believe that they are so BIG!

Savannah is going to be 6 in January!!! It doesn't seem possible. She loves school and is learning to read. She is so smart and reads anything she sees - even the signs on the road or other vehicles. I am so proud of her and the things she can do. She loves her ballet and tap dance classes. She will also be starting piano lessons at the first of the year. She loves to play with her brother and sister, but she definitely wants her own space and time to herself as well. She is a great help to Mom and Dad with her siblings and we LOVE her so much!

Aaron is a true BOY!!! He is 2 1/2 and is always moving around - SO ACTIVE. He loves nursery at church and has enjoyed story time at the library. He is talking so much and learning all sorts of new things. He loves his sisters and plays well with both of them. He is definitely a Daddy's boy but loves Mom time as well. We just LOVE him and his spunky personality!

Ruby is almost 1. She has such a sweet spirit. We love her laid back personality. She loves to play with Aaron and all of his trucks, cars, and trains. She is learning to walk right now and has taken a few steps on her own. She has learned to climb onto Aaron's little riding car and push herself forward and backward. She has NO teeth but LOVES to eat...mooch number 3. She is so smart and is learning all the time. She is definitely a Momma's girl and is weary of strangers. We LOVE her snuggles and smiles!

Latest happenings...

Savannah started taking ballet every Saturday morning. She is LOVING it. It is so fun to see her get excited for class and learning new things.

Ruby is becoming such a little mover! She is all over the house and loves her brother and sister. She is so happy and laid back.

Aaron is doing great. He is talking so much and is learning to play independently since his playmate is gone to school all day. It is nice to see his own personality come out and watch him play the way HE wants to play.

We can't believe that our baby girl is in kindergarten! She is so big and we are so excited for her to learn so many new things. We are so proud of you Savannah and we love you very much!

Daddy, Savannah, and Aaron decided to play hide and seek and this is what I got on video...It is sooooooo cute!

Look at me, Mom!

I was doing my normal checking on the kids after putting them to bed. Savannah and Aaron were asleep or at least laying down and this is how I found Ruby! She looks so proud of herself. I couldn't help but take a photo!
Mountain man...

Jake went on a week long trip, which felt like months, to Colorado for the high adventure in YM. He didn't shave for the entire time he was gone. I thought that the great outdoors caused his beard to grow more quickly and much longer than ever before. You be the judge...

Priceless moments...

I guess we are doing something right. The other day I came into the living room and noticed the kids like this. It made me want to cry! Such sweet little ones! I love when they are doing things together and not fighting with each other!

What do you do on a rainy afternoon? Lay around on the floor and watch movies! It was funny when Aaron got up from his nap and noticed Wah Wah (Savannah) laying on the floor, he decided to join her under her blanket on the pillow. Why not add Ruby to the pack and take a photo? Aren't they cute? Love my babies!

Poor Aaron...

Poor Aaron is sandwiched between two girls. They have been enjoying dancing to some music in the living room (way to HOT to go outside) and Aaron says, "dance" and "tutu." He wants to put on a tutu to dance around in the living room. Today Savannah suggested to put on a dress. Is there any hope for him to be a masculine boy?

Interesting positions...

I am always checking on the kids, as parents do, and I have founds Ruby in some interesting positions. I had to actually move her from these for fear that she would get a kink in her neck or not be able to move her leg out of the crib rungs. It is amazing how kids can fall asleep in any position!
Can't believe it...6 months!

Ruby is 6 months old already! The time has flown by. She is such a great baby. She loves to be around her brother and sister. She is so active - crawling already and pulling up on things! It won't be long until she is walking. She has already wondered into the kids room across the house! She smiles all the time and is such a joy in our lives!

Happy Birthday Aaron!

It is hard to believe that you are 2 years old. We love you so much! We are amazed at how much you have grown and changed in the last couple months. You have increased your vocabulary tremendously. Some of the things you love are trucks, tractors, trains, and birds! We love to hear you say, "All aboard!" You say it with such feeling. We love to watch you shake your booty! It is so entertaining. We are so glad that you have come to our family. Love you little man!

Enjoying some much needed time outside and in the sun!

We were able to purchase this small swing set for the kiddos. It isn't much but they have a good time with it and the grandparents have a much bigger one at their house. Our yard just wasn't big enough to accommodate a larger one. It seems that it went from nice manageable weather to extreme HOT! Hopefully we can get some time outside soon!

Latest photos...

The kids have been entertaining themselves indoors lately with all the rain and thunder storms. Savannah and Aaron have been playing together so well lately. He is growing up so fast, about to be 2 in a couple weeks - CRAZY! Ruby is growing so fast as well. She is a little over 5 months old and is on the verge of crawling! She rolls all over the place. You will notice the various locations she is in these photos. That is how I found her! She loves to watch her sister and brother, they make her laugh and smile all the time. She will be joining them running around the house in no time! There is a story behind some of these photos...Aaron decided he needed a drink and took my cup from the kitchen counter and went to sit on the couch. We found him like this - feet crossed and everything. He seemed so proud of himself! We have been doing our very best to have family prayer each night and teach the kids how to kneel for prayer and be reverent. Savannah and Aaron were playing and then I heard them talking about praying and saw them like this! So cute! Sorry for the massive post, but don't have much free time on my hands!

It is fun to watch the kids play together. Savannah plays with Aaron's cars, Aaron plays with Savannah's girly stuff. One day I came into the room to see Aaron parking his cars in a line. It was so cute to see that. Savannah did that around the same age, but with shoes.

My sweet little baby!

This photo warranted its own post. She is such a happy baby. I love to see her smile! Hope you enjoy this photo as much as I have!
Latest happenings...

We have not done much these past few months. The kids have been sick off and on and we have not done much but hang around the house. So glad that the weather is starting to get nice out. They love to be outside and go for walks. Aaron always asks to go for a "wal." He also has taken on feeding himself more lately, see photo below. He really likes pudding cups and gets some of it in his mouth. Savannah has been doing great at school, other than being sick of course. She is getting excited to start Kindergarten and I am feeling a little sad about it. It will be great for her but it is hard for me to let the first one go and be gone ALL day. Ruby is growing. She is holding her head up really well as you can see in the below photo and loves to look all around her. She is smiling all the time and talking ALOT! She is especially talkative at 7:30-8 in the morning.

Savannah and Aaron love to create tents in the living room by pushing the chairs together and draping blankets over them. Aaron loves to play with Savannah in all things. He even dresses up in tutus and princess dresses. He loves to put on her shoes, even her princess shoes. One day I was painting Savannah's toenails and Aaron would not give up sticking his toes in my face until I painted them as well. We also painted Ruby's toenails too. Poor Aaron stuck between two girls. Is there any hope for him to be manly?
